#RomanceIsInTheAir - Author Kimberley Montpetit, Sale, Freebie & Giveaway

The Fiance's Secret by Kimberley Montpetit

He's a successful entrepreneur who almost has it all. She's the long-ago crush—the girl who got away. When they meet again, fireworks explode once more. But will a buried secret steal their second chance at a happy ending?

Troy Thurlow let the girl of his dreams get away fourteen years ago, back when he was a high school football star. Now he’s a highly successful executive with a life most people only dream of. Still, he's never stopped thinking about Jasmine, and wondering what would have happened if he'd ever had the courage to ask her on a date. When he meets her by chance on a New York business trip, he's determined to take this second opportunity and run with it. That is, if his past doesn't catch up with him first . . .

Jasmine Cervantes does “happily ever after” for a living, arranging dream-destination honeymoons for the fabulously rich and famous. But, so far, her own fairy-tale ending has eluded her. That is, until the boy she couldn’t stop dreaming about in high school barges unexpectedly into her office one day.

When the two start a whirlwind romance they begin to see that fate is giving them a helping hand. Until Jasmine ends up on Italy’s most romantic coast without him. Missing him desperately, she begins to believe that Troy is truly “the one.”

But he's hiding something that could change everything . . .

“I have a confession to make,” she said, kicking up the sand with her toes.

“You—confessions?” Troy teased, but he seemed to tense as if unsure what she was about to tell him.

“I heard rumors that you were living out of the country. I figured I’d never see you again.”

“So why didn’t you come to our ten-year reunion?”

“I was on an important honeymoon trip right then. With Standing Ovation,” she quickly added with a laugh. “Not my own.”

Troy chuckled, but she thought she saw his jaw clench a little. “I figured that’s what you meant.”

“October in the South Pacific is very nice. That’s when the reunion was, right? At that point, the couple who wanted to honeymoon in Bali was our biggest client we’d ever had so I couldn’t tell my VP no.”

“I guess our lives weren’t meant to cross right then. Extended business trips that sometimes kept me away for a few months. Especially at the beginning of the founding of DREAMS. We were hustling like crazy. All of us keeping insane schedules.”

“That makes sense. Assumptions are often not true. Isn’t that human nature?”

They paused at the shoreline, warm waves tickling Jasmine’s ankles. She wrapped her other arm around Troy’s waist, snuggling into him tighter while he put his other arm around her, while they stood staring out at the Atlantic.

“You feel fantastic, Jasmine,” Troy whispered, brushing his lips against her hair.

“I was just thinking the same thing about you,” she whispered in return, her voice barely above the sound of the rushing ocean.

The water was black, but under the starlight, the waves were a soft, frothy white breaking along the shore.

Troy turned so that they faced each other, and Jasmine snuggled into his chest, his body warming hers in a perfect fit. She was dizzy with his closeness, longing for more.

“I can hear your heart pounding,” she told him, gazing up into his face.

“My heart’s going crazy because I’m overcome by the most beautiful woman in the world. If I go into cardiac arrest, just kiss me and I’ll come right back.”

“Like Sleeping Beauty kissing the prince instead of the other way around?”

5 stars! LOVED THIS ONE! I ended up binge reading it until I could barely keep my eyes open but it was totally worth it!

This book pulled at my heartstrings. I loved how the characters were developed so that I could clearly feel their emotions. This book was clean but still involved passion and I appreciate that. I loved every second.

Love, love, loved this book!!!!! If you want a book that will leave you feeling happy, satisfied, and so much more then read this book.

#RomanceIsInTheAir - Author Laura Ann, Sale & Giveaway

Goldilock's Misunderstood Billionaire by Laura Ann

She needs his help... He needs her.

Goldie Lockwood loves her job as the Art Department head at Middleton Prep Academy. She loves that her friends have all found true love. And she even loves living with her triplet brothers, despite the fact they're way overprotective. What she doesn't love, is Finley Gruffman. His practiced charm and flirtatious smile drive her crazy and she makes sure he knows it. Much to her dismay, she finds herself in a position where she needs his help.

When Finley Gruffman finds himself attracted to the tiny, blonde art teacher, he quickly discovers she's got hidden claws and a sharp tongue. Riling her up becomes his favorite past time. However, when she approaches him about sponsoring an art fundraiser, he makes a deal with her. If she will pretend to be his girlfriend in order to keep his ex and the media at bay, he will provide the much needed funds for the exhibit.

When their feisty personalities clash, the line between enemies and lovers comes muddled. But Finley's reputation as a heartless jerk isn't completely unearned. Can he convince Goldie he isn't the man everyone else thinks he is?

My cheeks hurt from smiling. Truth is, I stayed up all night reading it. For sweet romance lovers with a little humor on the side this is the book for you.

This may be a clean, sweet read, but you’ll never miss the lack of sexual interaction with such a meaty book. I’d give this story more stars than five if I could!

Goldie spun and nearly fell over.

The man from earlier lunged forward, grabbing her around her elbows and helping keep her upright.

“Oh, thank you. That was incredibly helpful and an excellent reaction time.” Goldie stepped out of his hands, which seemed to linger on her arms until the very last second. Uh oh, maybe he didn’t quite get the message earlier.

Travis chuckled. “Anytime.” His eyes wandered up and down her, warming her but not in a good way. “You sure you don’t want to see my house? I’m thinking we could have a great time there.”

Red flags were waving like they were in a hurricane in her head. “Uh…”

He took her hesitation as an opportunity to step into her personal bubble and leaned down towards her face. “I’ve even got a hot tub out back.”

Goldie felt herself leaning back. “Thanks, but no thanks, Travis. Not really my thing.”

“I’ve got a theatre.”

“No.”

“Pool table?”

Seriously? Does he not get it? “No, thank you. I’m not-”

“Hey, hon. I’ve been looking for you everywhere.” A dark, gravelly voice came from Goldie’s right side just as a large arm slipped around her waist.

What the-? Every nerve ending stood on end as Finley put his arm around her. Goldie couldn’t seem to control the shiver that ran down her spine and the electricity that shot out from his hand. Turning sideways, she glared at him, only to be met with an amused smirk.

“Oh, I see. Well, you should have just said so,” Travis cleared his throat and stepped back.

“No.” Goldie’s tone was firm.

Both men froze and looked at her.

Stepping out of Finley’s reach she put her hands on her hips. “We,” she waved a finger between her and Finley, “are not together. And I don’t appreciate you making it seem that way.”

Finley’s expression went from shocked to thunderous in moments. His dark eyes looked like a tornado was brewing and Goldie knew it was time to get out.

She turned back away from Finley. “Travis, thank you for the invitation, but before we were interrupted, I was trying to tell you that I’m not interested. Thank you, anyway.” She turned back to Finley. “As for you, I thank you to keep your hands to yourself. I want no part of this little charade you’re trying to put on. Good night.” Spinning on her heel, she stomped to her car and carefully eased her way out of the busy driveway, leaving both men with their mouths hanging open.

Goldie couldn’t help it. As she watched the men get smaller in her rearview mirror, she couldn’t help but giggle. “Good thing I’ll never see either of those two again.”

#RomanceIsInTheAir - Author G.G. Vandagriff, Sale & Giveaway

 Rescuing Rosalind by G.G. Vandagriff

#1 Amazon Bestseller in Regency romance

"Prolific author G.G. Vandagriff creates a world full of intrigue, suspense, and romance that fans of the Regency Period will adore. Vandagriff writes in a style reminiscent of Georgette Heyer."--Deseret News.

When frigate Captain Buckingham Kernow-Smith encounters a sprite in a topiary garden he pulls off her stocking cap, revealing the character of “Rosalind” from As You Like It, played, in this case, by the appealing Fanny Edwards. Three years pass. The War over, Buck encounters his Rosalind at a ball, where she has developed into a notable beauty. However, her guardian confides to him that she is dancing on the very edge of propriety. Buck, who has been fighting the French since he was twelve, also finds the ton confining and sympathizes with Fanny/Rosalind’s plight as a properly reared young lady. Together, they make a dangerous pair, toeing the line between propriety and scandal. When they push their fun too far, Fanny faces ruin and the demimonde. Will Buck confide his own secrets and overcome his life-long aversion to marriage? Can there be a happily ever after for someone as headstrong and impetuous as Fanny?

"Vandagriff's Regency Austen-esque romance is perfect for any reader who loves a good old-fashioned romance and can enoy the journey of two people learning not to fear love while learning how to have faith in each other." --Deseret News

"Regency Romance in the style of Austen and Heyer. Love as it's meant to be written." --InDtale Magazine

"Another Regency delight from G.G. Vandagriff!" --Meridian Magazine

Chapter One

It had been many years since Captain Buckingham Kernow-Charles, Marquis of Deal, had strolled in the formal Ruisdell Palace gardens. The topiary animals that had so delighted him when he was twelve were now rendered even more magical by a frosting of snow. The last time he had seen them was that summer before he first went to sea. The giraffe, the boar, the jaguar, and . . . what was that?
Before him in the freezing mist appeared a slender, small youth dressed in tights, a belted tunic, and a comical hat that resembled nothing so much as a blue and red striped stocking.

“Marry, kind sir, how com’st thou here?”

He blinked his eyes, but the youth remained. His comely, almost feminine features had a puzzled look. Upon closer inspection, Buck saw signs of a bosom and smothered a grin.

“I am a guest of the duke. My name is Captain Kernow-Charles,” he said, forgetting his new title.

The apparition bowed from the waist. “And I, kind sir, am Gannymede. Welcome to the Forest of Arden.”

Buck’s forehead bunched in a frown. Gannymede? Shakespeare? As You Like It? Striding forward, he took hold of the end of the stocking hat and pulled. Out tumbled waves of thick auburn hair, descending to Gannymede’s waist.

“Thou art Rosalind, I think?”

“Thou dost not play fair, sir.”

He chuckled. “You are, quite obviously, a girl. Your disguise was futile. Does your mother know you are cavorting about dressed as a boy, boldly addressing strangers?”

“Rosalind” blushed a fiery red that clashed with her bounteous hair. “My mother is nothing to do with you, sir. She lives in Shropshire. I am sister to the duchess and may do as I please.”

“How old are you?” he asked with the sternness for which he was known aboard ship.

“I do not see that that is any of your business, sir.” Her eyes, an unusual shade of turquoise, snapped with annoyance.

“You may address me as Captain. My guess places you at sixteen. Am I wrong?”

“Quite wrong, Captain. I am to make my curtsey to the Queen in the spring. I am a great many months older than seventeen.”

He saw that she was beginning to shiver in her scant clothing.

“It is too cold for you to be out in this weather dressed as you are. Come back to the house.”

Looking mulish, she said, “I am not cold. Besides which, I am meeting Jacques.”

“If I know Jacques, he will not come out in such weather.”

“He wishes to write a poem about it.”

“A lament, you mean.”

“Possibly. May I say, you are quite overbearing, Captain? But at least you know your Shakespeare.”
